Cueember

One PowerPoint. Slides for the audience. Notes for the speaker.

Overview

What Cueember is and why it exists.

Cueember takes one PowerPoint presentation and sends its slides and speaker notes to different screens. The audience sees the presentation on the main screen, while the speaker follows their notes on a dedicated monitor. Both views stay coordinated as the presentation advances, with images, music and video available from the same control window.

Highlights

Why people love Cueember.

One PowerPoint presentation feeds separate slide and speaker-note screens.

The audience sees the slides while the speaker follows their notes.

Slide and note views stay coordinated as the presentation advances.

PowerPoint and Keynote decks retain their speaker notes when imported.

Images, music and video remain accessible from the same control window.

Quick blackout and holding-screen controls for transitions.

The story

From problem to product.

The problem

The audience needs a clean view of the slides, while the speaker needs their notes in front of them. Setting up these separate views can become awkward when the operator, projector and speaker’s monitor are in different places, especially when additional event media also needs to be managed.

The approach

Import a PowerPoint presentation once, then assign the slides and speaker notes to separate displays. Cueember keeps the audience’s presentation and the speaker’s notes coordinated while the operator controls slide changes and event media from one Mac.
